“sehr sub”

See the silver lining! =)

*isk*

Amidst all the works, I have to write this.

I, really hate it when I have to do someone else’s work. Or, being the subsitute. Well, I don’t mind being a subsitute, but the worse part comes when I don’t have all the details of the tasks that are being handed at me.

It’s already hard enough to carry on someone else’s job, it’s even harder when I have to find all the details myself!

Maybe I should play dead je la lepas ni.

————————————————————————————————–

I guess that’s better. Going to continue some more & head home. Meeting kak gee today! Hoorey! Something I’ve been looking forward.

Fully Wedded bliss

Our journey to Kajang was fun, as we raced through nothing. I thought we mentioned "konvoi", but I guess Syiefa understand the word as "racing". Hehe. It was 120km/j for her Red Kelisa and 140km/j for our Silver one (to keep up with them). We made a pit stop at Ayer Keroh Overbridge as we all except Yah’s sister, went to the ladies, Nad & Yuana went to buy Pau, with me and Syiefa waiting for both Hana & Muq doing their prayers. Later, I got free eskrem potong from Syiefa (half-eaten by her), and later she exchange it with a new one (only after she found out that Yuana had bought Magnum for herself!). Anyway, thanks, babe. The two kelisas parted when we exit the highway. Destination, Nilai 3. I have to have that kain coklat that I saw the previous week (while shopping for Mas’s curtain). Later, we dropped Nad at her office as she left her car there. Me and Muq proceed to buy some groceries, but only after we sent meow home. Poor kittty, been crammed in his small cage all day long. Dah melepek dah. I’ve got Red Cheongsam for Mak Besar. I thought it was some thick novel on war or past eras. But, it turned out that it is a compilation of Malaysia and Singapore old tales. Anyway, we ended up eating McD in car. Then, I went home, iron work clothes and went straight to bed. I had another restless night again, it was the same nightmare over and over again, only with different people.

Saturday, 27/01/07
We woke up to the voice of cikgu. I forced myself to sleep, since I felt like I’ve just sleep 10 minutes ago. Mas turned the lights on, Nad tossed and turned beside me. While Cik Rod is as good as a log. Sya who slept on the bed slept like a baby. Poor sya (or lucky Sya), she has to sleep on the bride’s bed since there was no place for her. The day went by smoothly. The highlights was of course the moment Rashi read his vow, professing his responsibility over Mas, from the day onwards. Yah & ED were first to shed tears. Non-stop. Haha. Nadia was the bridesmaid, forever mengipas Mas and from time to time menyeka air mata (most of it was because Mas couldn’t stop yawning from lack of sleep the night before). The day went by smoothly. I had a chance to see Laily, as thin as ever. Yong was there also - we haven’t seen her for ages!
At night, I spent 2 hours, talking to Ain in her lawn. It was one of the heart to heart talk. About things that people didn’t notice about us. About our worries, that we kept deep down. I haven’t had that kind of talk for quite a while now. So, that night, I had a peaceful sleep.

Friday, 26/01/07
Everyone seemed to be there at Mas’s house when I arrived that night. I put people to work, instantly. Ever the bossy me. Hehe. Thank you everyone for helping out putting the finishing touch to he curtain. The room looked good. A job of an amateur, but it was OK, I guess. We ended up sleeping at 3am (plus plus). But, since Nad can’t sleep, we talked for a while, laughed for a while, then we pushed ourself to sleep. I don’t know what time it was, maybe around 4am. It was a tiring day, but all end’s well. For a good cause anyway. For Mas & Rashi. Especially Mas.

————————————————————————————————-

I wish all the best for Mas & Rashi. Alhamdulillah..All is fine. Money is of no issue when the love is stronger. Allah has promised, He will assist us in doing good deeds.

————————————————————————————————-

Too bad I can’t join Syiefa’s "wild party" this weekend.. *sigh*

Giddy

Bubbleheaded, bemused, featherbrained. Call it what you want, but I prefer the word "giddy".

Maybe it is the fact that I’m going back to BP (again), this evening. Or that Maslinda is tying the knot tomorrow (wawee "syiefa’s phrase"). Or could it be the meeting I have just attended (simple meeting made hard because of someone of superior knowledge has so little info about other things and made someone else’s work harder - which remind me that no matter how knowledgeable you are, there will always be some things that you have yet to learn). Whatever it is, I’m feeling GIDDY.

So, my plan is to check out of the office on 5.45pm (sharp as I can), head straight back to my apartment to get refreshed & load everything (which means cramping 2 empty boxes for Mak Besar, miaw in his already-cramped cage, bags) in my car, fetch the flowers and start heading home by 7.30pm. If everything goes well, I am expected to reach BP by 10.30pm. Pick up the newly-sewn dress from home, transfer all the flowers to my daddy’s bigger car and speed to Mas’s house for both work and entertainment.

But, on top of all, the giddiness is maybe - no - MAYBE because of the fact that the closest friends of all ages (that’s us, by the way) will be gathering tonight and I bet Cikgu Bedah’s house will not rest peacefully tonight. Haha. It has to be this reason.

I can’t believe that Mas is the first to set sail. I thought it would be Nad. The most popular one. Hehe..

Anyway, I only have about 20 minutes to finish everything and write down what I should do next Monday.

*Giddy*

Swing it!

My heartiest gratitude to Ms Syiefa for repairing my door knob. Haha..I’m soooo amazed by her knowledge of small things like that, sometimes. Despite her naiveity (that I predict as mostly just a pretense - haha), she sometimes awed me with her simple mind and general knowledge of little little things like that knobs or the lyric of a classic songs. Syiefa, you are my hero! and thanks for teaching me the tricks.
[See, I promised you I will write it here - as requested by you. But I will not mention that you said that you've learned the tricks since your kindy years because of your naughtiness. Ooppss..I did it again! Sorry!]

I’ve found out a source of free novels - in the attic of my aunt’s house. Haha. I borrowed 4 novels that day. I’ve finished 1 in a day and am reading "If the shoes fit" now. I intend to borrow more by the end of this week. Yes, I will find the "Red Cheongsam" my aunt asked me to look for. As a gift for her generosity (of giving free service of flower arrangement and redecorating the box for Maslinda’s hantaran).

I dreamt of something that I realized, I wanted so badly - last night, or I think it was this morning, a moment before my alarm goes off. I was thinking of it during the day and it became my dreams. I’m not telling, though. One is entitled for her secrets, aight?! Erm, if it does come true, I’d be the happiest person in this whole Milky Way.

Faizal called me and thanked me for the wedding card I sent him & wife. Such a nice man.. I rarely get thank you for the wedding card (maybe because this is the first - haha) or for the wedding gifts I sent. Not complaining though. Hehe. All the best for you, Faizal. Make your wife feels like she’s the luckiest woman on earth ya. Yes, earth. Because the Milky Way belongs to me =P

Fadhilah dear… Sent your love to your beloved man here - in any way you can. He’s suffering from the Rindu Disease, Level 7. I’m imagining that he has developed major swollen all over his body or a puncture on his heart that make it flatter each day, mostly because of the lack of love from his one and only life saver - YOU. Send your love, through the wind, through the ray of sun, or simply through the technology. Sudah tidak dapat dibendung lagi tu.. I pity you, Apad.

I have tonnes of works to be done by this week. World, watch me swing!
[yeah, right.]

p/s: Dapat buku baru this year - 1428 - ! Intend to make it nice &  dirt -free. Hopefully. Happy New Year everyone. Make the most of it. It may the last year being alive! (Now, that’s scary - Ilmu tak cukup lagi ni)

*keciwa*

John Gray associates man with "cave" while women are associated with "wave".
My "wave" is reaching bottom.

Then there was a day

A day where everything seems nice and sweet. The sun finally spread it rays. Up to this moment, let me just list down the sweetest thing today - so far.
1. The moment I woke up at 6.10am to a quranic reading from the nearby  mosque.  I laid still on my back to make up whether it was a slow azan or a quranic reading. Then, as if knowing I have woke up, my little miaw-miaw meowed. (Hehe..)
2. Listening to Pacabelle’s Canon tune (I am so in love with this particular tune) made my heart merry. Humming to it, made me smile =)
3. Arriving at the office while it is still early. Safe & sound.
4. A package of chocolate waiting for me on my messy desk! Thank you.

A lot of things to be done, things to be sorted out. May I have the strength to move forward - quicker than I used to. A word of advice from my boss: "Nur kena buat keje cepat sikit la. Laju." Haha..I’m so used of having doing things as leisurely as I can. Fast means stress for me. I’m the one with the "sikit-sikit lama-lama jadi bukit" type of person. Slow but consistent. But when it comes to work, I guess, I have to leave it behind lah. Doing things in a faster tempo, flexibility of accepting last minute changes.

uh, got to go for now - works to be done!
Reminder for myself:
1. Drop by at Fadhillah’s blog. I miss reading her bla-bla. Maybe there’ll be new photos.
2. Tell Mas that I’m following her this weekend. Sorry girl, I can only be home after works on Friday - for your wedding on Saturday. (my work sucks!, esp. when I don’t get to take leave on crucial dates!). I feel bad already, Mas is tying the knot on 27th and I can only be there (I hope I reach there) before midnight on 26th. Damn job.
3. Kemas ofis!!!!! Setiap kali after program je, bilik ni macam tongkang pecah!

My sweetest things list today has stopped when En Faizal walked in and said that there’ll be no leave on orientation days. Damn.

2 0 0 7

I bet hundreds maybe thousands of couple tying the knot on the seventh day of July of this year! Ha-ha. Maybe with a RM77,777.77 hantaran. (since RM7,777.77 is considered pretty small nowadays - urm..maybe not  for a mediocre people like me).

KB was definitely beautiful, and despite the "Beauty & the Beast" song aired that day, Zuhri was by far, not ugly. He’s sweet and they make a perfect match together. Pretty dais, nice arrangements, and I guess, what made the day in the mood of love, are the selection of songs. Congratulations, KB & Zuhri!

This coming 27 January of 2007, let’s see how Mas and Rashi do. Hope everything went well. For Mas, here are a few reminders. Please take note: 1. Control your excessive burps. 2. Control your big laughs. 3. Control your breathing , as it will have effect on other area (wink *) of your body. Ha-ha. Maslinda Mahmor, is the one with the least vote for "The First to Tie The Knot" category. Guess, we were wrong then. Dear Mas, we will patiently wait for the day to come (the makan besar one ha..jangan lupa janji manis mu).

Come this March, is the end of my first year working here. One year already?! This is will see A LOT of new beginning for my friends, and mostly for me. A lot. I do hope that it will be for the better.
